Industrial romantic 。

H Fanny και ο Pascal, αγαπούν τα flea markets, αγαπούν τα do it yourself και τα σπίτια με χαρακτήρα.

When Fanny and Pascal François discovered the old factory near Lille , they fell in love. Now they could create a modern home, which despite its industrial aesthetics has a warm, relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Fanny and Pascal François are both very fond of renovating the places they live in , have great interest in interiors, are both incurable flea market hunters and advocate of do-it -yourself concept. Living in the city or in the countryside does not matter , as long as it is a home with lots of character . So when they found an old industrial building for sale, they plunged straight into the adventure.
The building had all that Fanny and Pascal could wish for : they loved the astonishing and almost exaggerated proportions , and the vast ground around the house made them already at first sight, begin to dream of a beautiful terrace and a large, lush garden.

With the help of Lille -based arkitektbyån Bo Architectures , the couple decided to knock out all the unnecessary room departments that was a remnant from the past, and instead create a ground floor where the kitchen and the dining room is completely open to the living room. In order to simultaneously preserve the original spirit of the building were two specific elements that were important to the couple in the renovation: first, a monolithic concrete floor , and the designs of the old windows , which have been replaced with seemingly identical ones , though isolated . The walls were sandblasted to restore the home's original brick walls.
